Rights and Responsibilities of Applicants

Verification of product conformity to the Technical Regulations is a prerequisite for products to be placed on the market of the Customs Union.
Products that have undergone the conformity verification procedure are stamped with a unified EurAsian Conformity Mark (EAC Mark) used in the market of the Customs Union State-Members.
The form and size of the mark and procedures and rules of its application are defined in the Regulation on a unified product certification mark to be used in the market of the customs union state members, approved by the Customs Union Commission's Decision 711, dated July 15, 2011.

The mark is affixed to products before they are placed on the market.

The manufacturer, an authorized representative of the manufacturer and the importer have the right to affix the mark to products.

The marking should:
- ensure adequate legibility and visibility of the letters comprising the mark;
- exclude any confusion of consumers as regards the meaning and the image of the mark.

The EAC is an abbreviation of Eurasian Conformity.

The mark demonstrates that the marked products have undergone all conformity verification procedures provided by the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union and meet all requirements set out thereby.
