Whether you are decommissioning legacy facilities, retrofitting existing facilities or building next generation power plants, the challenge is the same. How can you strike the balance between maximising operational efficiency, increasing availability, whilst adhering to national and international safety and environmental standards?
At TÜV SÜD, we take an integrated approach along the plant lifecycle. We partner you with services from the design and planning stage where we review design documentation and pinpoint areas for operational improvement of the power plant. Ensuring that you design to regulations and avoid costly rework at a later stage.
In the construction phase we provide single administration support services such as quotation processing up to construction monitoring and entire project management as owners engineers to ensure plants are built to schedule. Alleviating you of non-core business workload and ensuring the construction costs and timelines are kept in check. In addition, tests and inspections as well as our third-party supplier assessments ensure your plant equipment and materials deliver consistently on quality and safety requirements.
Prior to commissioning, we conduct compliance assessment to national and international codes and standards; support in the case of non-conformities with independent inspection and assessments, as well as manage licensing and conduct final acceptance and test programs.
Upon commencement of operations, we conduct periodic safety inspections of your plant equipment and support with maintenance programs and CHP reports and evaluation of CO2 emissions. In the case of incidents, we prepare expert damage reports and concept rehabilitation programs. Once it comes to dismantling, we provide you with expert guidance and consultancy.
