First and second party audits according to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 19011:2018

The new standard for quality management in the automotive industry IATF 16949:2016 reflects an understanding of the need/ requirements for self-assessment conducting and assessing the quality system of external suppliers of products and services.

Training «First and second party audits of the quality management system (QMS)» considers a unified methodological approach to auditing the updated ISO 19011:2018 standard, revised requirements of IATF 16949:2016, IATF Auditor's Guide (Auditor Guide for IATF 16949), psychology of internal and external audit. The main objectives of the three-day training are to transfer knowledge of creating the right audit program (who, what, how often, what the subject of the audit is), properly examining the audit topic, introducing the results into the process of continuous improvement, achieving the effectiveness of the internal audit process through the refinement and additional requirements of ISO 19011 for identifying, evaluating and determining the response to the risks of the process.

Practical tasks cover:

• determination of the competence matrix of the auditor;
• drawing up checklists for auditing the production process and the system;
• planning a logical survey and monitoring the receipt of evidences;
• evaluation and description of observations;
• formulating opinions as a result of the audit;
• approaches to work with the audit results (appointment, evaluation of improvement measures).

Participation in the training requires the passage of training on the requirements of IATF 16949 or knowledge of the standard requirements.
