ISO 31000 Compliant Risk Management Systems

The main purpose of the three-day training is to gain knowledge and skills of implementation of the risk management system in the organization in accordance with requirements of ISO 31000 standard. The training is intended for risk assessors; specialists responsible for managing the environmental risks of the company, risks in the field of personnel safety and product safety; as well as for employees developing and supporting the quality management systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

During the training the participants learn to determine the need and gather information for risk management; develop their skills of risk identification; you will learn useful practices: building a tree of errors; making hazard assessment maps and comparing risks, determine the acceptability or critical risks and the choice of risk management methods; making decisions about risks and opportunities, developing and implementing risk management system; work with incident scenarios.

The following methods and techniques will be considered during the course:

• threat analysis;
• structured interviews;
• brainstorm;
• industry analysis;
• method of combined expert opinion;
• analysis of incidents and accidents;
• SWIFT;
• HRA;
• HAZOP.

The training includes 26 business cases, including:

• identification of risks - formation of list of hazards’ sources;
• the necessary information for risk management;
• build a tree of errors;
• application of risk assessment techniques;
• evaluation, analysis and determination of risk acceptability;
• risk description;
• review of incident scenarios;
• etc.

Training ends with a final exam.
