Social audits is gaining popularity among large retailers, as well as world-famous food manufacturers. The purpose of conducting social audits, in addition to checking compliance with the requirements of social responsibility, is to reduce the number of inspections/audits for supply chain members – in addition to the social part such audits consider issues of labor and environmental protection. The results obtained (for example, SMETA audit results) are uploaded to the SEDEX platform and made available to other users, which in the future simplifies the conclusion of supply contracts with major players in the manufacturers' market for both food and non-food products.
The TMS RUS Academy has developed training for organizations faced with the need for social audits (SMETA, ICS, etc.). International ISO standards are already quite tightly accustomed to modern realities and do not cause such fears and fears among the audited organizations, which cannot be said about the relatively new procedure – «social audit».
Conducting a social audit of SMETA can be agreed in advance, while for example ICS audits are most often conducted as «unannounced» or «semi-announced», when you will hear of the upcoming audit up to 2 weeks in advance... How to prepare for such an audit? What will they check, where to look, what questions to ask, to whom they will ask...?
Our trainers with experience in conducting cocial audits and accredited by SEDEX will be happy to share their experience with the course participants, talk about the most frequently identified inconsistencies and help to develop the tools necessary for a successful social audit.
This 2-day training is conducted online (social audit webinar training).
