Internal audit of Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to ISO 45001:2018, ISO 19011:2018

The training Internal audit of Occupational Health and Safety Management System is the second step in training for specialists, who are responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 (formerly OHSAS 18001).

During the training course participants

• study the ISO 19011:2018 requirements for the audit program management, for internal auditor’s qualification, for audits planning, conduction and completion;
• analyze the risks of the internal audit process, potential difficulties, develop risk management measures;
• develop suitable audit documents forms for their companies;
• upgrade internal audit communication skills;
• determine the order of further actions with the results

as well as

• select criteria for audit conducting of specific processes and departments (knowledge of ISO 45001 requirements is required);
• determine polling discipline according to the relevant criteria, work with questioning forms;
• train interviewing skills;
• evaluate the photo content (we use real examples from our projects);
• conduct a walk-through audit with interviews, observations to assess the interrelations and discordant information;
• draw audit conclusions, get skills in objection handling.

At the end of the training participants understand the purpose of internal audit, they are able not only to plan, conduct, evaluate results, but also to motivate and convince the auditees to the necessary improvements. All participants pass the exam.
