Maintenance of equipment

The training «Maintenance of equipment» developed by the TMS RUS Academy is intended for employees of enterprises with responsibility for the exploitation, maintenance, repair of equipment (managers and specialists of engineering services; managers and specialists of production units, operating equipment, etc.).

The main purpose of this training is to form a management system for the operation and maintenance of equipment using the process approach in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, as well as best practices and elements of lean manufacturing. Besides, the training covers the basic requirements for maintaining related documentation.

Participants in the training through practical exercises and games will be able to:

• identify and build the basic processes of equipment maintenance in accordance with international best practices;
• identify applicable KPI for equipment maintenance processes, as well as analysis techniques for KPI realization;
• gain knowledge in the areas of risk management and change management;
• learn the principles of SMED, 5S, Poka Yoka, TPM and carry out equipment maintenance taking into account the use of lean manufacturing tools;
• learn about the nuances of repair parts managing;
• develop a basic documentation package necessary for the high-quality organization of the equipment maintenance process. 

The training lasts 1.5 days and ends with a short test. Trainer – Lead Auditor / Expert on Quality Management System, Auditor VDA 6.3.
