ISO 45001 just published

The first international standard ISO 45001:2018 with the requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System has just been published.

The main objective of the standard is a provision of a safe and healthy workplace and environment both for employees and visitors.   

The standard has a well-known  structure, terminology and approach to the development  maintenance of the management system: from the determination of the strategic area, performance indicators, understanding and monitoring of the context, interested parties, work on risks and opportunities up to achievement of a continuing improvement.

The International Accreditation Forum, in cooperation with the committees and ISO defined a three year transition period for ISO 45001 new version for OHSAS 18001 certified companies.
